Tina DavenportVP of Data Management Services

Tina has served in various roles within the field of education over the last 17 years. Most recently, Tina served as the Executive Director of Assessment and Analytics. As Executive Director of Assessment and Analytics, her responsibilities included coordination and overall implementation of district and standardized testing, overall accountability, and projects and activities in the district with an emphasis on improved decision-making. She also worked directly with the District Leadership Team and school leaders to strategize to affect positive academic growth among students.

In her current role, as Vice President of Data Management Services, she engages with clients to understand data needs and pain points to deliver best-in-class solutions to drive results. She creates and leverages database platforms to rethink and improve how data is used to support clients. Tina establishes clear and practical data practices for project implementations, creates standardized approaches to data intake and processing, and supports flexibility of businesses.

Tina’s experiences in the field of research led her to the realization that data sprawl was a widespread issue, which fueled the creation of E.M.P.O.W.E.R., a cloud-based system which provides an educational entity the ability to analyze specific data points effectively to inform academic achievement and overall school performance. Tina utilized several studies conducted by the U.S. Department of Education to determine the characteristics of high-performing schools. This research information became the groundwork for the system of E.M.P.O.W.E.R.

Tina earned a bachelor’s degree in History with a concentration in diversity from the University of Akron; an M.S. in Instructional Technology and a M.Ed. in Cultural

Foundations, both from Kent State University. She has completed Post Master’s certifications in Data Analytics (2021) and Technology Management (2022).
